4th graders will soon begin a new adventure with string instruments. We will be focusing on good posture and left hand technique. Instruments and supplies should be obtained before August 13 if attending String Camp. Students not attending String Camp will need their instruments by the first day of school.

5th graders will spend the first several weeks of school learning to play together in five parts. New rhythms and finger patterns will also be introduced. We are really excited to experience a full orchestra sound!

6th graders are in for a treat! We will be playing pieces from different cultures and time periods. We are also planning a field trip to a local violin shop later this year. What a great learning experience!
